This beautiful little Alfred Meakin historic saucer was made in Staffordshire England and depicts historical scenes of Chinese export to America. This particular one is called Friendship of Salem. Known as transferware, this vintage piece is part of a discontinued series using original copper engraving techniques.The saucer measures 6 inches and has no cracks, chips or crazing. A nice vintage piece to add to your historical, shabby chic or pretty brown and white china collection.
